Where do the courses take place?

 At the AlpenSport Total office, Marienplatz 18 Garmisch- Partenkirchen

When do I have to pay for the course?

The simplest solution is to come and pay at the ski school office. Or, if you make a firm booking, we will send you an invoice which you can pay by bank transfer. You will then receive a booking confirmation.

Is the ski pass included in the price?

I would like to book a private instructor instead of a small group course (2-4 participants). Can I change my booking?

If a private instructor is available at the desired time, no problem. Only in consultation with our ski school office.

Where do I meet my private instructor?

Generally at the ski school. Marienplatz 18 If you have booked the instructor for the afternoon and are already on the slopes, you can meet the ski/snowboard instructor at one of our AlpenSport Total meeting points in the ski area or by arrangement.

I'm too late, what now?

We will do our best to bring you into the appropriate programs, but the time cannot be made up. In general, however, we cannot promise that it will still work out.
If you have booked a private course, please contact us. We will try to find a solution.

How far in advance do I have to book a course?

As we are a small family ski school, please book in good time using the booking form. If you book at short notice, we cannot guarantee to have an instructor on site at the desired time.

What if I am the only one interested in a group course in the low season?

How many people take part in a small group course?

Beginners - children: 2-4 persons
Advanced- Children: 2-4 persons
Adults: 2-4 persons

From what age can children take part in the small group ski/snowboard course?

Children can take part in ski or snowboard courses from the age of 6-7.

What languages do your ski instructors speak?

The programs are generally held in German. However, almost all snow sports instructors also speak English and can teach bilingually. We can offer more languages in private courses - please ask when booking.

Frequently asked questions Rental:

Should I pre-book my skis?

You can rent your equipment from us spontaneously at any time. However, we recommend that you reserve your equipment via our contact form or make a firm booking. Payment is made at the ski school office or by payment on account/invoice.

Do I have to deposit collateral to be able to rent winter items from AlpenSport Total?

You will need an identity card or EUR 400 in cash as a deposit.

What happens if I do not use the equipment I have booked, e.g. due to illness?

If you do not make use of your rental equipment, please contact us in good time by email ski@alpensporttotal.de

What do I have to bear in mind if I keep my rental equipment for longer than booked?

If you would like to hire your equipment for longer than planned, please let us know and then keep the equipment. 
You pay the difference on return.

Can I pick up my equipment the day before?

You can pick up your equipment from 3 p.m. the day before at no extra charge. So you can start your first day of skiing even more relaxed.

What happens if my rental equipment is swapped or stolen?

For further information, please refer to our general terms and conditions.

Can I leave my equipment at the ski school overnight?

By arrangement with our ski school office, you can store your rental equipment overnight in our depot.

Is there a way to store my shoes during the day?

Yes, that's not a problem.

Can I swap my rental equipment or switch between skis/snowboard?

You can swap your equipment or switch between different categories. You can also switch between skis and snowboards during the rental period. You pay the price for the items actually rented.

Is there a service for my own skis/snowboards?

We offer high-quality ski and snowboard service by staff who have been trained for many years. Brought in the evening - done by morning. Of course, we also offer binding assembly, ski binding adjustment and many other services.
